There once was a gun store in Portland, OR by the name of “Weaver’s Arms“ which sold wares such as their famous “Double Diamond“ shotguns. The store needed a sign which grabbed the attention of passersby day or night, so they had this double-sided glass reverse-painted in flashy Yellow, Red, White, and Black and illuminated from within. The style of sign-painting says late-1930s/early-1940s, the actual metal housing says more like 1920s, which makes us think the business was around for a little while. Or like you, got very crafty and repurposed this cool old sign for their needs!
