Made of solid oak and standing at 11' 2" tall and just over 18' wide put together, these guys pack a PUNCH. They were salvaged from a (most likely Anglican or Catholic) church in Pennsylvania, then stored disassembled for a decade here in Oregon before we had the space to tackle this project! After many man hours and square footage of our store dedicated to restoring these more than worthy pieces of art
The elaborate curvilinear forms mimic Gothic window tracery, studded with floral and foliate carvings that coalesce into a pattern so abstract and organic it borders on sublimely psychedelic. Note the amazing hand carved faces that appear to be Monks, Kings, Devils & Green Mans at the top! These screens are truly divine works of Art!
What their next life will hold, you will decide! Use them in a hotel lobby to separate the lounge from the concierge desk, put them up against a brightly painted wall with up lighting for a spectacular display, use them as a partition in a classical style atrium... The opportunities are ENDLESS!
