Holy Smokes! The details on this wrought iron cross are simply divine.

This piece came to us from the East coast, by way of an esteemed collector of Old World European wares. We brought it out West, and now it is ready for its next chapter of life. This cross is more well-traveled than most people!

Comprised of a wrought iron framework, this cruciform has a bit of everything, from spear-headed strap metal, to spade-shaped, orthogonal lines, to curved volutes, to rope-twisted spirals- and if that isn’t enough metalwork, there’s also three sweet little rosettes in a contrasting tone that bring this piece to the ultimate level.

We imagine that it once graced the top of a gabled facade, which might explain the raw metal at its base. But it would just at home on in interior wall as an large accent, or outside as a garden feature.
