Reclaimed Merry-Go-Round Table
Since the whole merry-go-round thing isn’t widely accepted due to safety standards, what shall we do with these massive pieces of steel left behind?? MAKE A GIANT INDUSTRIAL TABLE OF COURSE!!! After taking some of the rust off to bring out the remaining color, this piece shined up with a poly-coat like no other. The top being ready, what about a base? We’d been waiting for the perfect use for this perfect orange wooden foundry mold and alas, its time hath come! In order to bring these pieces together we fashioned a sturdy joint and place a grounding steel disc on the bottom.
This piece will require *very* special handling due to the size and the weight.
