There’s an old saying, “…teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime”, but what that old phrase skips over is the high cost of sinkers. You’d have to sell off all those caught fish to offset the price of your equipment! Teach a man to cast his own lead sinkers and he will surely feast for a lifetime, save money, and cut down on time consuming errands to the outdoor supply store!

We don’t actually recommend casting lead sinkers in these old molds as lead has proven to be environmentally unkind to our waterfowl and their aquatic bedfellows, but anyone who grew up fishing or just enjoys old tools will appreciate the quality of these rare old sinker molds by Reading Instrument Co. circa 1925.
