Rustic but refined, the Mostique line produced by Roseville Pottery of Ohio was originally developed under the English designer and ceramicist Frederick Hurten Rhead, who later went on to design Fiesta Ware and many other iconic commercial pottery lines. Roseville’s Mostique line featured an abstracted and minimal ornamentation scheme inspired by Native American craft and design.
