And oh how the artisans who created this beautiful stained glass must have believed, because this piece has been blooming bright for over 100 years!

This large window is made up of an upper and lower framed panels, together which make up this semi-abstract still life scene. The entire scene is wrapped in borders of mauve-purple, blue-green slag, and green textured glass, both complimenting the colors of, and highlighting, the central motifs. Starting from the bottom panel; a vase supports a column of greenery rising upwards flanked by 3 pairs of pink undulating foliage, the lower field is a deep golden hue which gradually lightens towards as it goes up in a gradient of yellows, all of which is studded with variously sized and colored jewels. As our eye moves to the top panel; the verdant green border curls inward supporting a swag of cream colored daisies and a central pink rose, all crested with a vibrant magenta cartouche. Just wow!

The fir frame is stained a dark oak color, and one side of which features chamfered edges surrounding each panel (as shown in the last photo).
