This jewel box of a window makes every view a garden in the peak of Spring. Textured and richly colored slag glass captures the light and emits a gentle glow from within. An abstract realist depiction of red-flowering vines climbing a trellis above a cluster of 3 tulip-like flowers, all of which is encapsulated in a tiered border of greens, pinks, blues, and purples, and a field background of the reds, oranges, and yellows. Most likely constructed at the turn of the 20th-century.
Frame is a slender but sturdy walnut-colored stained wood, hung by D-rings. Only one original support bar at the bottom from glass to frame remains (2 others previously evidently removed to distract less from panel). Recent cementing on non-textured side has rendered the panel whole and firm as well as the lead nicely blackened.
*Has a few minor but stable cracks (seen in last few photos) otherwise, glass, metal, and wood are sturdy and in good overall condition.
