The design of this majestic stained glass is compromised of dual flowering wisteria vines whose trunks flank each side of the panel climbing a latticework of multi-colored and wiggle-lined squares. Upon each reaching one another, the crisscrossed meeting forms a semi-architectural ogee archway. Like a garden, the variety of colors and textures pleases the eye and invites its viewer to stay awhile to take it all in. Note how the draping flowers and vines of the foreground supersedes the lead lines of the trellis, and how the confetti glass up the upper background gives the impression that more flowers continue to bud further beyond - illusionistic tricks such as these are signs of mastery at the craft.
Though large, the glass does not rattle - the panel and its saddle bars are firmly secured in a contemporary frame. The sash itself is made of solid Douglas Fir, and is painted an antique white on one side and stained chestnut-colored on the other.
