Bennington Drawer Pulls

$45.00

With a look not unlike burled wood, these knobs bring warmth and character to any set of drawers. Referred to as Bennington, this style of ceramic knobs became popular in the mid to late 1800s, originally patented in 1849 by Christopher Webber Fenton in Bennington, Vermont. These knobs were popular in many Eastlake and Greek Revival style homes through the early 20th century, mainly seen in the form of door knobs with a cast iron shank. These particular ones are the more rare cabinet knobs, with an embedded screw in back, a large handsome face, and moderate projection.
