Horse Hide Rocking Horse
This lovely little horse has a few notable features that make it a little extra special. This horse is a push/pull ride on style of toy that has been mounted to a bow style rocker. Made from real hide and horse hair, this style of horse is more realistic and was most likely produced in the later 19th or early 20th century. This little prancer retains its original glass eyes and tack, and while it does have noticeable age wear (see images) it doesn’t detract from the overall charm of the piece.
