This beautifully rendered 19th-century hunting scene has all the looks of a print from a distance, however, the elegant brushwork is apparent on closer inspection. Hitting all the high notes of a noble English countryside hunt, men in long waistcoats and beaver hats ride astride bobtail horses accompanied by foxhounds. The piece is in its original matting and frame, which features a folksy faux bois finish that is desirable on its own.
