1940s "Royal Club Coffee" Carboard Advertising Sign
Its vacuum packed process made this coffee FRESH - Fit for royalty, some would say... Cardboard advertising signs were popular circa 1940 as a retail advertising tool. The wholesalers would circulate these out to grocers with seasonal messages to push their brand to the shoppers and were meant to be thrown away once out of cycle. Some of these meant-to-be-discarded advertisements were saved and still bless us today with their typefaces and color today, such as this one!
