A rare set of passenger aircraft seats circa 1930 have just arrived at the shop. What once carried a crew and cabin on a DC-3 aircraft in the early 20th century can now be a conversation piece in your home. Note the nail-in only construction throughout the chair, the dense wicker structure and leather upholstery all in great condition. The cushions have retained their comfort and spring all these years awaiting their next mission! At the bottom of the seat you’ll see four bolts that were used to affix the seat so it stayed in place during flight. You can now use those to add a swivel base or attach them to a bench! (The seat height is 10” at their current state, they will need a base of some sort to be normal chair height).
The seats are in overall great, never-installed condition. The leather and parts of wicker show wear from being stored the last 100 years. Please reach out regarding which seats are available and exact condition.
